Nelya’s Story ꩜

Welcome, I’m Nelya ⊹ I am a Mother, women’s wellness guide, trained herbalist, energy worker and certified yoga teacher. My purpose on this Earth is to guide my incredible clients to a more healthful, aligned life using ancient healing modalities. This work is my medicine to the world – a truth that I uncovered through my own healing journey.

As a child I was deeply connected to the subtle world around me. I was incredibly creative with a wild imagination. I was often drawing, creating “potions”, writing magical stories, learning from my grandparents, or making up ways that plants could heal my family members. A common thread was a profound intuitive knowing and energetic connection to Mother Earth. Years later, I discovered a way to reconnect with and harness my childhood gifts at my first Kundalini yoga class. As I deepened into my practice, I felt the familiar feeling of being rooted in my intuition and Mother Earth’s abundance.

Deep down, I always knew my calling was unconventional in the face of modern standards and family expectations. Despite this I followed my Soviet Jewish immigrant family’s dream and became an international corporate lawyer. While I appeared incredibly successful on the outside, I was feeling truly lost and disconnected from my truth, overwhelmed by the competitive, overly masculine grind. I stopped going to yoga, could not bring myself to meditate. I began experiencing symptoms of nervous system + hormonal imbalance. This time in my life was one of learning through darkness and discomfort, and ultimately it became an irreplaceable catalyst for growth.

After hitting my emotional and energetic breaking point, I left law and founded my first business, Woven Impact, a corporate wellness practice. I set my own schedule and focused on healing using meditation, herbal allies, lifestyle changes, and other healing modalities. Through this path I reconnected to my childhood gifts, which led me to yoga teacher and Ayurvedic certifications, herbal apprenticeship and education, energy healing training, tea ceremony study and plant medicine work. 

My healing journey is non-linear and always evolving, even now. Despite being told by allopathic doctors that I was “infertile”, holistic medicine practices helped restore my fertility, hormonal matrix, and nervous system after years of imbalance. After a vibrant pregnancy and powerful home birth in April 2024, I am now mothering my baby daughter, Alma.

All of my offerings are rooted in my own life path (from hormone balancing to early mothering) as well as reverent study and years of practice. My purpose is to help Women reclaim the ancient healing ways that live in our bones. ࿓
